C.C.R. Es un grupo de rock'n'roll que nació en 1967 gracias a John Fogerty, en una ciudad cerca de San Francisco que se llama Berkeley. Este grupo es muy famoso en todo el mundo. Su canción más célebre se titula Fortunate son (1968) .Trata de la guerra, y mas generalmente de los milicos . Era escuchada por los militares Americanos durante la guerra de Vietnam.
Este grupo es famoso también porque estuvo presente en Woodstock. La canción Fortunate son nació tres meses después del concierto. Es todavía una figura emblemática del rock'n'roll de America del norte durante el fin de los anos sesenta. Cuarenta años después,¡no tomó una arruga!
